hela Sverige As a Machine learning Specialist you will work with developing solutions for the Manufacturing systems with focus on quality technology equipments and ICT (Information and Communications Technology). Key task will be to develop computer aided decision support solutions to support Industry 4.0. You will be responsible to monitor the relevant technology trends and transform them into opportunities for SKF. Strong interaction and communication with internal stakeholders will be needed.
Job responsibilities Develop software aided decision support solutions through ICT and Machine learning to support Industry 4.0
Communicate with key global stakeholders (production, Group IT etc) to develop the right solutions for the SKF manufacturing arena.
Further develop the existing Advanced Analytics Software and introduce to other machines and systems
Develop visualization tools and Quality prediction systems for Quality Technology
Work close together with Universities
Gatekeep Machine Learning trends and technologies in order to propose relevant projects and solutions.
Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant area
Good knowledge in software development, signal processing and machine learning
M.Sc in Computer science or Mechatronics or equivalent with R&D experience
Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and self-motivated. You have an excellent personal drive and a will to work proactively.
Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing
The SKF Group Manufacturing Development Centre is the central research and development facility for manufacturing processes and Quality Technology used in SKF. With 75 employees of various nationalities its role is to reinforce SKF's technical leadership in manufacturing and processing of rolling bearings and related products. We are focused on developing new analytics and computer decision solutions, based on quality and machining data that is generated in our production system, for the Industry 4.0 production system.
