We are now looking for a Machine Learning & Analytics Engineer to join our Analytics competence group.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a Machine Learning & Video Analytics Engineer you will be part of the innovative Analytics competence group within Core Technologies. The team plans and develops advanced machine learning and image analysis algorithms for network devices, to be on the market within five years. It delivers a wide range of video analytics functionality, at both low and high system levels. Algorithms are mainly developed in embedded C or hardware together with other Core Technology teams. The team is furthermore responsible for the infrastructure required to integrate machine learning and video analytics in Axis embedded platforms and SDK for use by external or internal partners. Your main focus will be to develop algorithms to continue our successful analytics strategy for network video surveillance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Algorithm development for machine learning applications within computer vision, this also includes integration into product platforms Researching new analysis technologies for video surveillance
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a candidate with the right combination of technical skills and personal characteristics. We see that you have an Engineering/Technical Masters degree or equivalent. We want you tobe interested in sharing your work with others and work in a team oriented environment. In general you like to work together with others and reach common goals. As a person you are open minded and think outside the box. Your skills in Swedish and English written & oral communication are excellent.
In addition to above we believe that you have:
Interest in and experience of machine learning technologies, either through education or professionally Knowledge of algorithm development for video analytics Experience in C-programming
We consider the following as further merits
Professional work experience Knowledge of implications of limited resources in embedded systems on algorithm development
The Core Technologies - Analytics team
The Core Technologies - Analytics team are responsible for the long-term technology agenda within the strategic areas Analytics. We perform technology roadmapping; execute the roadmap by developing technologies and assist toward platform integration of technologies. We also act as a competence centre within Axis with regard to the core competence areas. In addition to this we define test methods and standards to be used by Axis as a whole.
The Core Technologies Analytics group focus on identifying and implementing technologies aimed at increasing the value of the network for surveillance applications. This includes algorithm development for machine learning and video analytics, identification of new technology trends and technology development using combinations of sensors for improved analytics.
