Our mission is to build and customize the best, most durable heavy lift trucks for our customers. This has been our path, our core, since we manufactured our very first lift truck in 1959.
Your key responsibilities
As a Machine Control Engineer with us you will:
work with the machines' control systems (SW and HW) and with the most advanced technology for functional safety, through a model-based working method
read requirements for functions from the PLC program and create the software
handle new function testing
provide general support for the product
participate in developing the new generation of lift trucks
Your primary location will be at our office in Markaryd, but there are excellent opportunities for partial remote work. You will report to our Manager for Machine Control & Electrical Engineers.

The workplace is in state-of-the-art premises in Markaryd, with great flexibility. Our Markaryd office has a very good location along the E4 and excellent commuting opportunities. What should you bring?
To succeed in this role,
you should have proven experience as an automation, electronics or electrical engineer, or computer engineer with relevant system competence and knowledge of control systems, electronics and embedded software
you should have experience with Matlab, C, embedded development, CAN-bus communication
you like problem solving and thrive in an environment characterized by teamwork
you are a good communicator who has the ability to express yourself both orally and in writing in English and Swedish
you are analytical, structured and goal-oriented while being innovative and able to see solutions in new ways to create customer value and meet market demand
you need to have the ability to shift focus from system level to also see more overall technical challenges. We are looking for a team member keen to constantly develop and open to using new technology and new methods in your ways of working.
