We are now looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our Customer Service Logistics team for Northern Europe.
Your tasks
You will be a part of the Customer Service Logistics team for Northern Europe and work with below tasks:
Warehouse management:
• Ensure good level of performance in close collaboration with the external warehouse provider and company stakeholders
• Regular on site meetings and audits at the warehouse
• Process and control invoices from warehouse provider
• Identify and implement potential cost savings
• Take appropriate measures based on stakeholder feedback
Freight management:
• Ensure good level of delivery performance
• Maintain effective and long term working relationships
• Process and control invoices from forwarders
• Lead tender negotiations (with support from purchasing department)
• Take appropriate measures based on stakeholder feedback
Process/project management:
• Manage projects in cooperation with external/internal parties
• Participate in cross functional projects
• Continuously improve processes within logistic functions
Daily operational tasks:
• Monitor the interface between SAP and other internal/external systems and take appropriate actions in case of deviations
• Monitor the deliveries to service engineers and B2B/B2C customers and take appropriate actions in case of deviations
• Monitor the inbound deviations and take appropriate actions in case of deviations
• Support other NE departments with logistic questions
• Update logistic KPI reports and take appropriate actions
• Provide statistics and reports as requested
Your profile
We are looking for a person with minimum 1-2 years of working experience. Experience in similar position is preferred but also persons with other experience are welcome to apply. You have excellent system skills with focus on SAP and Excel and experience from MS Access is a plus. You are fluent in English as well as Swedish (or any other Nordic language). University degree in Business Administration, Logistics or equivalent is a plus.
To succeed in the role it is important that you can demonstrate a self motivated spirit with a genuine drive, analytical skills and focus on solutions and results. In this role you will have a lot of internal and external contacts and it is important that you have high social skills and is a team-oriented person.
Ideally, this position will be placed in Solna, but the position can also be placed in Finland, Norway, Denmark or Estonia.
