Development Service Operations Capital Equipment, DSO CE, delivers Filling Lines to all corners of the world. Our global Supply Chain is having internal and external factories connected in a network situated in Europe, Asia and the Americas. The Supply Chain team is now looking for a Logistics Specialist that can take the function to new heights.
As a Logistics Specialist you are taking lead in our inbound and outbound logistics activities and you set the strategic logistics agenda with an end to end perspective. The position is based in Lund and may require 5-10 % travel.
Main responsibilities
• Continuously develop Logistics end to end in cooperation with Group Transport & Travel, internal stakeholders and our external logistics partners.
• Lead process development within the shipping and logistics area.
• Be the main contact between DSO CE and external logistics partners and Group Transport & Travel.
• Contribute to budget settings for inbound and outbound logistics activities and the defining of relevant and supporting KPIs.
• Local Process Driver Order Fulfilment Capital Equipment Shipping Process
• Explore structural opportunities such as for instance direct-pickups, consolidation-points etc.
• Evaluate commonalities between Capital Equipment, suppliers and other Tetra Pak businesses to achieve logistical synergies.
• Monitor and analyse the performance of logistics partners in relation to deliveries, cost, lead-time, environmental impact and quality.
• Transportation claims driver.
• Part of the Supply Chain Operations, SCO, Integrated Supply Chain Logistics network.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position you have a strong drive for results and processes with hands on experience of executing changes in a global environment. You are self-motivated and flexible with an analytical mindset. You find it easy to work in a multicultural environment and you use your excellent communications and networking skills to manage relations in a co-operative, diplomatic and successful manner.
You have a university background within engineering or economics combined with at least 3-5 years of proven experience in the logistics field, preferably in a bigger or international company. Basic knowledge of WCM tools and/or LEAN Production is required.
