In alignment with the growing targets and needs, we are currently on the lookout for a Linux System Administrator and Infrastructure Engineer to become part of our tight-knit team in Gothenburg, where we are continuously looking to find new ways of working that decrease complexity and provide the tools for team members to do their best work. In the team, you will be working with like-minded people who, just like you, are genuinely interested in technical support of anything related to networking. We focus on private cloud implementations using OpenStack but with a hybrid cloud environment also connected to public cloud solutions.
Requirements
We are looking for someone to create and maintain our hardware and software infrastructure. We want you to continuously monitor and improve our infrastructure so that it is easy to deploy, scalable, performant, secure and fault-tolerant.
More specifically you are able to showcase:
Proficiency in Linux administration
Experience with Linux network configuration using, bonding, LACP, VLAN, Routing, Bridges, Name Spaces, NetworkManager and netplan
A good understanding of Linux KVM and VMWare Hypervisors
Understanding how Linux handles storage, MD-raid, NVME, hardware RAID etc.
Experience with MAAS, IPMI, Docker, Ansible, Bind, Salt, DHCP, Network Storage, Iscsi, FC
Hardware Experience with DELL and HPE and Supermicro hardware
Understanding of fiber infrastructure (SM,MM,LR,MPO,LC)
Experience with Git in a collaborative environment
We think you have an inquiring mindset, and want to work broadly with new technology. You are comfortable with configuration management tools, have a strong grasp of automations using code/scripts, and incremental code testing and deployment in your work.
You want to continuously monitor and improve the infrastructure so that it is easy to deploy, scalable, performant, secure and fault-tolerant and you like to communicate your work with your team.
