WHAT WILL YOU DO? The Windows & Linux Platform team is part of the Infrastructure Department. Our responsibility is to provide and maintain a secure, reliable and effective IT infrastructure at Axis. We are working with, among many other things; network, storage, server & virtualization platforms, backup, security, remote access and phone systems. We also setup and maintain the infrastructure for production & logistic facilities and sales subsidiaries around the world. In short we create the Axis IT platform.
Axis is growing and it is now time to expand the Windows & Linux Platform team. As a Linux Specialist you will work in a project oriented environment, building the Axis IT infrastructure and supporting the organization and its needs. You will work both independently, with your colleagues and in project groups with people from other departments.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We believe that you have a technical degree in computer science or similar and that you have several years of working experience as a Linux specialist or architect. You feel at home in scalable global environments and the complexity that comes with designing and maintaining them. In addition to this we are looking for someone who is a team player but can work independently if needed. Most important you are a driven person with a genuine interest in IT technology, open, service minded and communicative. THE MAIN SKILLS WANTED ARE:
• Deep knowledge of Linux, preferably Debian and Ubuntu
• Scripting in Python and BASH
• Experiense in designing global distributed sytems
• Good knowledge in written and spoken English and Swedish
