Job Summary
Tetra Pak Processing Solutions and Equipment business is at the forefront of combining the best-in-class technology and engineering with fit for purpose industrialization solutions. This business operates across different food and liquid food categories.
We are now looking for an experienced technology / engineering / operations professional who will take the lead in defining and driving competitiveness for our Plant-Based solutions within this business.
This role offers an opportunity not just to be part of an emerging category, but to also be part of a larger purpose - the ability to leverage processing solutions to produce delicious, nutritious products from current and new plant-based sources that will help with the goal of maximizing planet's existing resources to feed the ever-growing population in a sustainable manner.
This is a permanent position based in Lund, Sweden. You can expect to travel up to 20-25% of your working time.
What you will do
You will be part of the global team that works in a dynamic, agile and collaborative environment to develop and deploy innovative processing solutions for plant-based beverage and related products. You will be responsible for understanding the processing and manufacturing challenges for current and novel plant-based products, generating a value proposition based on existing portfolio or for articulating and driving development need, rooted in a strong business potential.
Main responsibilities:
Responsible for defining the technical and commercial value proposition of the line solutions - in terms of line performance parameters, quality, sustainability and commercial and competitiveness considerations.
Apply technical and commercial domain expertise to deliver application support internally to the Sales and Project Engineering teams and externally to Customer teams to help grow the business in line with the company strategy.
Continuously monitor the performance of deployed solutions through internal tests, customer site data analysis and leveraging other information sources. Then incorporating these data and interpretations in the next gen solution development.
Ensure long term competitiveness of our best practice lines by contributing to the development roadmap for both application and portfolio development.
Drive communication, training and sales material development to highlight the added value of our best practice lines, both externally and internally
We believe you have
A master's degree in food science/engineering, chemical engineering, biosciences engineering or equivalent.
You have minimum 10 years of experience working with processing of liquid products.
Experience working on technology and engineering aspects of the line solution on plant-based applications.
Competence with engineering tools and considerations for plant based long life liquid processing / manufacturing.
Deep understanding of Tetra Pak processing portfolio
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
To succeed in this role, you will need to combine strong understanding of emerging market and consumer trends, with expert level knowledge on the technology and manufacturing solutions for plant-based products as well as portfolio of equipments and solutions.
You are a person with a strong drive and a can-do attitude that don't hesitate to define our added value from either technological or technical aspects. You are a great communicator and collaborator with the ability to build trust and relationships globally across functions.
