Job description:
Extremely challenging position is open as Head of Legal, for StableSure, a product development company, within, production and process and product development and sales. The company develops high-end products for agriculture and livestock.
• Working with Management team, the Legal Manager will provide timely and commercial advice including on arrangements with suppliers, service providers, contractors and other business counterparts.
• Monitoring proposed and newly enacted laws, regulations and providing compliance solutions for the business
• Instructing and liaising with external counsel as may be required
• Reporting directly to the Management Team
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Qualified Legal Practitioner in North Africa, particularly in Algeria and Morocco, with a degree or above in Law.
• At least 5 years of post qualification experience in private practice or as in-house legal counsel. Previous in-house legal counsel and compliance experience is an advantage.
• Should have held the position as management team role such as General Manager or similar
• Is interested and able to travel in Maghreb
• Has a business and service mind-set and is willing to do what is needed to get things done
• Good communicator with strong commercial acumen and analytical ability
• Excellent command of spoken and written English, French and Arabic
