The Team Legal & Compliance is responsible to provide legal support to all business activities in Sweden and globally. It is a truly international and highly engaged team, working closely together in 8 locations in Europe and North America. The function encompasses the responsibility for conduct-related compliance as well as data protection compliance.
Your role will be to provide legal support to our business operations in the area of renewable energy, with a focus on providing commercial and solution oriented advice across a mix of project related, transactional and contractual work.
Key tasks will be to:
be one of the key legal advisors handling all legal matters of our Scandinavian wind projects under development, in construction and in operation
provide legal advice in the phase of acquisition and/or divestment of projects, including performance of due diligence, evaluation of transaction structures, development of drafts and negotiation of related transactional documentation
advise the business on various corporate legal matters, including the firm's participation in joint venture projects
provide advice to the business on general legal matters and how to handle default or potential default situations
provide support (including liaising with external counsel) in dispute resolution situations
provide legal advice to the company's further renewable projects in Europe, under development, in construction and in operation
We are looking for a smart, motivated and social individual who's willing to fit into our dynamic and international legal team.
You have graduated in law at a Swedish university or another Scandinavian country with distinction and have been admitted to the bar as a solicitor. Completion of (post-graduate) studies in another European jurisdiction is beneficial.
You have significant working experience in a corporate, M&A or transactional team, preferably in an international law firm or company in the area of energy. Fluent in English, and capability of conducting negotiations in another EU language would be beneficial.

You build your reputation and that of the Legal Department as a function through good cooperation and teamwork with colleagues within the business. You are open for new ideas and you drive change to promote and implement continuous improvements to your, the Legal Department's and E.ON's benefit in general.
