We are looking for a LEGAL COUNSEL, BIOPROCESSING EMEA to work with our expert LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE team.
The Legal Counsel will report directly to the ASSOCIATE GENERAL COUNSEL, BIOPROCESSING EMEA
What you'll do
Partnering with regional product, commercial and direct procurement teams in EMEA to negotiate commercial, sourcing, R&D and services contracts and other collaborations
Providing legal support in relation to Bioprocessing manufacturing site matters.
Supporting negotiation of global master sales agreements with large pharma customers.
Providing legal & compliance training to the business teams to help them identify and navigate risks that may arise during the course of doing business.
Applying legal and business judgment to proposed deals, relationships and other issues requiring legal or compliance attention.
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating strategic business agreements and transactions.
Advising the business on compliance, privacy, antitrust, quality/regulatory and advertising / promotional matters, as well as supporting on HR matters as needed.
Supporting disputes/litigation with 3rd parties.
Managing outside counsel to defined budgets when brought in to assist.

Who you are
JD (or equivalent) with active bar membership (or equivalent) in England & Wales or a jurisdiction within Europe.
Significant business law experience at a large law firm or corporate legal department and/or in-house environment, preferably with experience gained in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
Strong project management and prioritization skills, ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience identifying and resolving legal issues quickly and effectively and ability to make on the spot risk calls.
Proven team player with ability to work across all levels of the organization including multiple functional and business stakeholders
Fluency in English essential. Additional fluency in Spanish, Italian, German or French highly sought after!
