hela Sverige We are looking for an open minded, curious and business oriented Legal Counsel with Privacy/GDPR experience to Telenor's Legal Team in Stockholm! The Legal team consists of five legal counsels plus one legal coordinator, which all advice the company in legal issues and strategic projects. The Legal team also collaborates closely with the Public & Regulatory Affairs team.
What does a Legal Counsel at Telenor do?
As Legal Counsel in Telenor you will part of the Legal Team which supports the company including subsidiaries with contracts, negotiations and various legal issues and disputes. The role requires broad commercial legal competence, including contracts and negotiations. In addition, as Telenor is currently running a Privacy/GDPR program, you will support the program and guide it through various Privacy/GDPR issues, for example interpretation of GDPR and other relevant privacy legislation, supporting the commercial teams with privacy impact assessments, and drafting data processing agreements with suppliers and customers. You will for this purpose work in close collaboration with the entire organization but also support the Privacy/GDPR program team, including the Privacy Officer. You report to Telenor Sweden's Head of Legal and Public & Regulatory Affairs.
Are we a match?
We believe that you are a team person with a curious, open and business oriented mindset, while at the same time having strong legal analytical skills. You have the ability to balance risks and business interests and you are excellent in finding answers and solving problems with a pragmatic approach. You like to work in a high speed environment, both independently and in a team.
* A university degree in law and at least 3 years of experience from law firm or inhouse counsel role
* Practical knowledge and working experience related to the current data protection legislation and implementation of EU General Data Protection Regulation
* Excellent communication skills and fluent in English, both written and spoken
* Experience from a company which handle a large amounts of customer data is a merit
