In the role as Lean Manufacturing Engineer you will be our specialist when it comes to Lean and continuous improvement. You will be reporting to the Site Manager.
You will in your role:
Lead value stream mapping exercises to determine and record business improvement areas.
Lead SMED and KAIZEN initiatives
Develop and implement project plans to achieve Future State.
Optimize work flow to improve shop floor throughput.
Conduct process mapping to identify value-adding and non-value adding activities, waste, and opportunities for improvement for both direct and indirect areas.
Develop and implement plans to eliminate waste and improve process efficiency.
Work with other engineers in planning work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and workspace for maximum efficiency.
Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements
Support Maintenance team to implement TPM
You will also play a vital role in building our Internal Academy.
Qualifications:
High self-leadership.
Master or Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Proven experience within Lean, KAIZEN, Six Sigma.
Fluent in the English and Swedish language.
Experience from the automotive industry is an advantage.
