The Role

We are seeking for a Continuous Improvement Project Manager Lean to help us further building the future of food. The role is preferably based in Gothenburg, Sweden but can also be based in either Finland, UK or Belgium. You will be part of a great cross-functional team of people based across Europe.

In this role you will be part of the Supply Chain E2E Excellence team. Here you will have the opportunity to lead projects which will deliver significant operational, safety and financial benefits and drive the development of the new Paulig Operational Excellence system providing the expertise and leadership necessary to carry out the Continuous Improvement process throughout Paulig.

As CI Project Manager you are part of developing and implementing the new Paulig Operational Excellence system, as well as identifying, driving, supporting, training and leading manufacturing excellence opportunities through the whole Paulig organisation. You will collaborate closely with Paulig factories, coaching them in the implementation of Manufacturing Excellence roadmaps and CI strategy within the Paulig operational network

You will report directly to Gary Turner, CI Manager within Supply Chain E2E Excellence.

What you will do

Contribute to develop and improve Paulig Operational Excellence system (Paulig way)
Drive Manufacturing Excellence/CI projects within Paulig's international manufacturing network.
Coach local factories in implementing Manufacturing Excellence roadmaps and CI strategy in the Paulig operational network
Lead and/or participate in SWAT team (task forces) in critical operational situations
Train organizations in CI and Lean principles

What we think you need

Engineering degree or similar
Relevant background within Continuous Improvement, at least 5 years
Experience from developing lean production / manufacturing systems is an advantage
Project management experience from major manufacturing efficiency projects
Lean management experience
Six Sigma is an advantage
Good knowledge of Industry 4.0 and digitalization in manufacturing
Fluency in English on a professional level, both oral and written

To succeed in this role, you are excellent in leading and implementing change, team building and networking. The ability to cooperate and communicate with others is a great advantage as well as working with processes. As a person you are driven by result and have excellent project management skills. You have international experience as you will be part of an international team and environment. Travel is a requirement in this role, but it is flexible with work balance always in mind.
