Lead terminal Software Developer
Summary
Seamless is developing the next generation of our Point-of-Sale (POS) terminal software client and needs you to drive this development.
This is an exciting challenge and opportunity to be involved in creating a fresh new solution that will be used widely all over the world.
You will drive this development and work with other developers to create the complete terminal solution for the Seamless systems for the future.
Education and Qualifications
Essential:
• BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MSc. in Computer Science or MCA or equivalent
Experience/ Skills
Essential:
• Minimum 5 years of development experience with C/C++ development
• Experience in programming integrated devices or other experience relevant to POS terminal development
• Comfortable is using some SCM tools for source control, bug tracking, build automation etc.
• Clear understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts
Good to have:
• Experience developing software for Verifone POS terminals is an advantage
• Experience with developing software for other POS terminal brands is an advantage
• Practical experience in working with databases, preferably MySQL
• Experience in working with distributed teams
• Agile development experience preferably Scrum
Personal Attributes
Essential:
• Good communication skills in English
• Self driven and ability to make progress with minimal supervision
