A Lead Programmer ( Programmer Analyst) will be a core member of this team and will work with different customers in Sweden to provide our solutions.
Primary Duties:
Acting as an onshore Lead Programmer you will be the primary contact point our customers and our Global Delivery Centers for all programming activities.
• Plan and coordinate the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and user support of technical components in SAS (analysis & reporting)
• Coordinate the above activities in accordance with programming standards, validation procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Support in the specification and documentation of SAS output report templates and reporting data sets
• Provide technical expertise in conjunction with internal and external clients.
• Assist in developing and implementing new technologies
• Assist IT in testing and evaluating new upgrades to technologies.
• Assist in developing, revising, and maintain core operating procedures and working instructions.
• Coordinate with teams across geographies and occasionally travel
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree (Mathematics, Statistics, Life Sciences) or equivalent experience in computer/life science or related field
• Prior experience of working within a Data Management enviroment would be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of SAS is required. Languages required are SAS/MACRO, SAS/BASE.
• Experience working with clinical systems
• Good understanding of clinical drug development process is preferred.
Skills
• Excellent organization and communication skills (both English and Swedish)
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in SAS
• Ability to set priorities and work independently within a team based environment
• Good skills in the areas of judgment, problem-solving, leadership, analysis, negotiation, and innovation
• Excellent interpersonal skills
