Avalanche Studios Group and its division Avalanche Studios are looking for a Lead Producer to join a top-tier project and lead a team of Producers on an exciting new AAA title. Avalanche Studios is the division dedicated to ambitious externally published, AAA open-world games like Just Cause, Mad Max, and Rage 2.
The Position
We are looking for a motivated and driven Lead Producer that is ready to maintain a focus on the coming Milestone deliveries. Taking inputs from the Executive Producers, Game Director, and team of project Directors, you will create a Milestone scope and deliveries list which will be communicated to the larger production team. Together with the Producers and leads you will organize the project teams, create strike teams as needed, and plan and execute strategies & processes to ensure the timely high quality delivery of the nearest Milestones. You will work closely with the Directors and guide the Producers and Leads to understand the current scope and available team capacity, and maximize the effectiveness of the various teams and maintain a challenging, but doable prioritised backlog of features and content for the Milestone duration.
Required qualifications
Experience in the game industry shipping at least one AAA game - an understanding of how the different development cycles demand different focus and priority, and how to maximise your collaboration with your team to accomplish them is required.
A deep understanding of game development cycles and across the spectrum of disciplines and challenges for a AAA title.
Strong ability to manage scope versus capacity and set realistic boundaries for Milestone deliveries.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - in this role you'll be required to communicate upwards as well as towards the larger team.
Experience contributing to a project roadmap with a focus on a 0-6 month timeframe.
A passion for understanding and translating creative vision into a prioritized deliverables list suitable for both team and publisher use.
Thinking on your feet and adapting to changing plans - knowing when to push back, and when yielding will produce stronger results. When to compromise, when to strengthen your argument, and when to concede to ensure the best course of action is taken.
Strong conflict resolution, self-reflection, and firm but fair professional negotiation skills.
Experience showcasing accomplished work both internally and to external partners in the form of videos, presentations, and other documentation.
A strong drive to be self organized, detail focused, and an ability to create structure within creative challenges.

Desired qualifications
5+ years of experience making AAA games
Passion for playing and making Open World Action games.
