We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer for our office in Bohus, Sweden.
Main responsibilities:
• Participate in large multi discipline projects and/or lead projects within own discipline in any major project driven by the engineering organization
• Define project scope for own discipline, lead decision making and manage uncertainties and expectations with stakeholders
• Perform basic and conceptual Mechanical design in projects including calculations, sizing of equipment and piping, technical specifications and functional descriptions
• Prepare a time table for the work
• Perform cost estimation of equipment in studies, pre- and investment projects
• Perform technical evaluation of quotations
• Participate in safety analysis and other HSE activities
• Participate as Lead Mechanical Engineer at commissioning and start-up of plants
• Perform technical service to customer / trouble shooting
• Document activities performed on process and design engineering work including documentation to customer
• Improve and to standardize the mechanical engineering process and strive for functional excellence
• MSc in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 6 years' experience with relevant design engineering processes and projects, start up and commissioning of plants
• Knowledge on design engineering and relevant tools
• Experience from chemical plant projects, R&D or manufacturing
• Organized and results oriented with focus on quality
• Good communicator and adaptable to changes in cultural environments
• Good knowledge in English
• Ability to travel
