hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Jacobs Sverige AB i Stenungsund As a Lead Mechanical Engineer you will work on mechanical design for a large variety of project sizes, all the way from pre-studies to execution, commissioning and start up.
Main responsibilities will be to:
• Lead and manage Mechanical design of equipment, package units and layouts
• For larger projects lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers either from the Sweden office or from other Jacobs offices throughout the world.
• Responsible for budget and cost follow up for engineering and sub-contracts.
• Produce technical documentation as a base for inquiries and procurement of equipment and construction works.
• Participate in negotiations with sub suppliers.
• Through design reviews ensure that the design meets requirements by law, standard and contract.
• Participate in supervision of mechanical construction works.
• Responsible for communication with other disciplines in order to find optimal solutions in the projects.
• Provide input to cost estimates, time schedules and technical documents to internal customers.
• Give support to external clients such as mechanical inspections and advice for maintenance.
Qualifications:
• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechanical/Process/Energy engineering or similar.
• Basic or detailed knowledge of equipment used Oil/Gas, Petrochemical Industry (pressure vessel, rotating equipment etc.)
• Project experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge in English both written and spoken.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong ability to cooperate in teamwork.
Computer tools:
Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.
