hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Terranet Tech AB i Lund Terranet is seeking for a Lead Hardware Engineer to join our team to help designing, developing, and testing optical components and subsystems of our next generation ultra- low latency automotive vision sensors. This will help save lives of vulnerable road users and make our roads safer.
From our offices in Lund (Sweden) and Stuttgart (Germany), Terranet is developing a next- generation ADAS system based on scanning lasers and event cameras coupled with a powerful compute platform and cutting edge AI software.
In your role as the Lead Hardware Engineer (m/f/d) at Terranet you will work on some of the toughest technical challenges in the automotive and mobility domain. You lead both mechanical as well as electronics engineering to design and develop our hardware components. You supervise electronics and hardware design works, operate closely with our software engineering team, and report directly to product management. You also manage the sourcing of hardware components and define and further develop our technical system requirements.
You will be contributing to the lowest level of our system where we are directly battling with the limits of hardware and software. You will be working on the entire spectrum of product development, starting from conceptualization, modeling and simulation, to prototyping and laboratory testing, as well as product integration that meets automotive requirements. Your Profile
• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in electronics or a related technical discipline or
associated subject
· You have at least 5 years' work experience , in particular leading a hardware engineering,
ideally you have worked in the automotive industry or supplier companies
• Ideally you have relevant knowledge of designing cost optimised automotive electronics products
Your Skills
• You demonstrate an extensive technical expertise and application of engineering principles, concepts, theory, and practice
• You show solid practical engineering skills and expertise, have a hands on mentality
and are action-oriented, rather than process-oriented, practical rather than theoretical
• You have a thorough knowledge of platform design, including hardware and software design patterns and interactions, electronics sub-system, bot analogue and digital
• You have profound system test and qualification skills
• Hands-on experience in hardware product design, product development and testing, product requirements as standards and regulations.
• You are analytic and have easy to understand complex product concepts
What we are looking for
• As the Lead Hardware Engineer you oversee every step of the electronics engineering process, right from the very start of the design process down to the last dregs of the testing phase.
• You lead the architecture and development of all electronical components
of our product, like printed circuit boards, conrollers, connectors, firmware protocols, power supply, chips, etc.
• You supervise design and development of electrical components, lead hardware engineers, and work hand-in-hand with software engineering and product management
• You work closely with suppliers and development partners (project management
• You write technical specifications, requirement papers, and file patents relevant for our main product
• You plan, direct and coordinate all hardware development tasks
