We are now looking for a Lead Engineer Simulation (Vehicle Dynamics Control)!
Description
You will be part of the Vehicle Motion Software & Controls organization. The organization is responsible for requirement setting, design, implementation and testing for Software intense systems that can affect Vehicle Motion.
As Lead Engineer Simulation (Vehicle Dynamics Control) you will lead the simulation efforts required for software development in all stages of a car project. In the early phases of the project simulation is primary used to support requirement setting. As the project proceed the simulations shall provide more and more qualitative results that are used as checkpoints for the project. Since we are working with Model Based Development, you will be leading the team's activities with Model In the Loop (MIL), Software In the Loop (SIL) and Hardware In the Loop (HIL).
The role involves:
- Maintain and develop simulation strategy for software & controls development, including MIL, SIL and HIL.
- Support the development of vehicle level requirements with simulations.
- Support the development of system and component level requirements with simulations.
- Compare/verify design proposals with simulation results.
- Participating in analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc.
- Maintain and develop simulation environments.
- Anchor decisions, development direction and status with the responsible management.
We are looking for someone who has:
- B.Sc or M.Sc.in Engineering
- Engineering experience from software intense systems and Model-Based Development in the automotive industry, preferably within chassis domain, 5-10 years
- Experience from development of embedded systems with high real time requirements.
- Domain knowledge of Vehicle Dynamics & Simulation
- Experience in MIL, HIL and tools like Matlab/Simulink and IPG CarMaker
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous testing
- Experience from systems with functional safety requirements and related standards, ISO-26262.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Driver license B
