The section Security and Body Electronics within Vehicle Software & Electronics department has responsibilities that stretches from early phases until launching new cars. Our main role is to develop functionality for customers.
The section consists of four groups; two engineering design groups, one SW-development group, and one Verification group, and has approximately 65 employees. We handle project management, analysis, verification, hardware and software. The technical responsibility covers many of the security systems in the vehicle, such as Access, Locking & Alarm, but also a number of electronic control units, for instance the centrally positioned Central Electronic Module (CEM) and Vehicle Computational Unit (VCU1). One part of the section is also a group with the responsibility of in-house developed software to Central Electronic Module and Vehicle Computational Unit.
We are now searching for a Lead Engineer Security Electronics with the ambition to grow within the organization.
As Lead Engineer for Security Electronics you will be covering all phases from concept to aftermarket. You will have a cross functional responsibility together with purchasing and manufacturing. The role also involves close cooperation with our suppliers.

Main responsibilities
* Work in close cooperation with suppliers to develop system/component solutions (time, technique, cost)
* Quality assure the assignment through a cross functional team and deliver according to agreed time plan
* Documenting the assignment by updating and releasing documentation for systems and components
* Report the assignment status and decisions to SPL and Line management
* Follow up and drive on-going quality items within Security Electronics
Required qualifications
* B.Sc. degree in technical engineering or similar
* Interest in managing projects
* Experiences with product development processes
* Experiences within automotive industry are meritorious
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Driver's license "B"
