We are now looking for a Lead Engineer Power & Signal Distribution (PASD) for High Voltage harness (HV)!

Description

The E/E Team, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Technical Development Organization. You will part of a team of Engineers, with primary responsibility for the Power & Signal distribution system HV&LW, electro-mechanical components, and 12V battery.

A Lead Engineer PASD HV primarily collaborates internally with other engineers, technical specialists and project management. Externally with suppliers and is involved in all phases of a car project. You will be an important player within the development of existing architecture platform and upcoming platform.



As a Lead Engineer, you will:



- Lead the development of High Voltage PASD on system and component level. Writing technical requirements as well as handling project planning and follow-up.
- Develop and maintain the environment for Electronics development
- Leading technical communication with suppliers through the complete product development lifecycle.
- Identifying opportunities and implement changes to improve products or processes and reduce cost
- Evaluating the feasibility of new proposals and products
- Responsibility for the development and maintenance of verification and validation methodologies and procedures that concern PASD
- Establishing and maintaining internal and external networks with PASD expertise
- Leading analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc.
- Providing input to best practice design solutions
- Support mentoring and training activities.
- Anchoring the assignment's decisions , development and status with the responsible line management
- Support development of Wire harness components, eg. Channels, brackets, grommets



We are looking for someone who has:



- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience from Power distribution systems preferred within HV-area in the automotive industry, minimum 2 years
- Experience from harness components design & requirements definition & validation
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Driver license B

NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
