Therefore we are looking for a Lead Engineer, Propulsion Integration!



Description

As a Lead Engineer you will be involved in all phases of vehicle development projects. You will be the expert and take the lead and plan all design activities to meet project deliveries. It will be essential to establish and maintain internal and external networks on related parts and systems. In this role you will evaluate the feasibility of new proposals and products, identify opportunities and/or implement changes to improve products, processes or reduce cost.

A Lead Engineer will also support the powertrain and chassis engineering development organization with theoretical and practical knowledge. Mainly on power generation concepts and integration parts/system possibilities. You will also support purchasing and supplier quality in supplier assessments/reviews.



Responsibilities as a Lead Engineer Power Generation & PTI systems:

- Technical Requirements and specifications, for power generation, propulsion integration related and components related to autonomous driving
- The design, development and maintenance of verification, validation methodologies and procedures, according to best practice/guidelines for related parts
- Components performance through the complete product development lifecycle

We are looking for someone who has:

- University degree in engineering, within relevant area or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience in the work area, preferably automotive
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of vehicle development processes, both in a Conventional and an Electrical Vehicle context
- A thorough understanding of propulsion integration work and sensors/actuators for autonomous drive
- Experience from cross functional work, with domestic and international teams
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Driver license B

To be successful in this role, you need to:

- Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of vehicle development processes
- Have a thorough understanding of Powertrains, power generations and integration of propulsion related parts both conventional and EV
- Flexible to a changing work environment, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and cultures
- Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded Be willing to travel, and have good communication skills
