We are now looking for a Lead Engineer, HVI! (Human Vehicle Integration)



Description

The responsibility of the Mechanical Integration team that you will be a part of, is for example to coordinate, secure and control the integration work to fulfill all geometrical requirements, vehicle requirements as well as demands from production and aftermarket.

The Lead Engineer is responsible for his/her respective area and for all projects.

The role as Lead Engineer, HVI involves:

- Develop, validate, organize and maintain standard operating procedures to capture best practices/guidelines and process'.
- Develop, validate, organize and maintain vehicle occupant ergonomic criteria/technical input per vehicle project.
- Work with engineering, styling and program management to implement optimum package ergonomic & cognitive solutions for production vehicles.
- Perform digital and physical assessments of criteria against styling and engineering proposals.
- Develop and run focus studies to establish ergonomic compliance.
- Develop, validate, organize and maintain architecture and vehicle technical specifications related to ergonomic and cognitive function.





We are looking for someone who has:

- University Education Degree or equivalent experience in any of the following: Engineering, Ergonomics, Human Factors, Physiology, Biomechanics, Human Kinetics, Psychology, Cognitive systems or closely related field.
- Five or more years' experience in any of the following areas: Ergonomics, Human Factors, Mechanical Integration/Systems Engineering, Technical Writing (writing best practice/requirements documents will be a large part of the job)
- CAD modeling tool & PLM system experience and/or familiarity (Preferably NX & Team center.)
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
- Human modeling tool experience and/or familiarity (Preferably RAMSIS)
