We are now looking for a Lead Engineer EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility)!



Description

We are looking for a person who wants to work as an Engineer EMC, reinforcing a number of competence areas within automotive EMC.

Your main focus will be the areas of EMC competence and support the development department. You will use your technical skills in order to meet expectations from both internal and external customers.

Based on your experience the profile of this position can be adopted to attribute owner EMC car project or a senior EMC engineer on a platform level looking in to future.



The role involves:

- Work in the EMC team and reinforce NEVS competence in the area
- Responsibility for target setting and implication of the actual competence areas
- Actively taking part in design review, development and evaluation of EMC standards
- Assist the development department in EMC related issues on a vehicle level

We are looking for someone who has:

- Relevant experience and technical skills in the work area, at least 5 years.
- Master of science or equivalent
- Theoretical knowledge and experience in the EMC area
- Relevant experience and skills for performing and evaluate EMC documentation
- Long term planning experience for component and vehicle EMC validation
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written
- Driving license B

Areas of specific interest for us are:

- EMC standards for pure electrical vehicles
- Methods for testing EMC on component and vehicle level
- Develop EMC standards and test plans templates
- Experience with design review from a EMC perspective on component and system level
