Description
The Body and Exterior Team, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Technical Development Organization. You will part of a team of Engineers, with your primary responsibility for Closures. The attribute leader primarily collaborates internally with Project Leader, other Lead Engineers, CAE, technical specialists and externally with suppliers.
The role involves:
- Manage pre-program work streams/deliverables for closures to ensure program content assumptions are feasible and aligned with program financial targets.
- Interface with the core body function to maintain relationships and product understanding - sharing work methods, best practices, specifications, and guidelines.
- Deliver all components/systems with quality that meet program function, cost, weight, and timing requirements.
- Manage the relevant body supply base to deliver this content.
- Support the design and product development organization with theoretical and practical knowledge that concern doors, hood & lid.
- Be responsible for the development and maintenance of verification and validation methodologies and procedures.
- Establish and maintains internal and external networks.
- Support future product planning activities.
- Support mentoring and training activities.
We are looking for someone who has:
- University engineering education or equivalent experience, BSc
- Experience from development in automotive development or relevant area, minimum 3 years
- Ability to understand the design ideas
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Driver license B
To be successful in this role, you need to:
- Good presentation and communication skills, visual and verbal
- Be flexible to a changing work environment
- Have knowledge and understanding of automotive product development and production
- Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded
- To be able to plan and prioritize
- Have a "Hands-on" approach with componentry
