Our Engineering department is creating a strong foundation of skills for new technologies and innovations. We have a committed passion to create and deliver iconic and desirable global products suitable for volume production. We are now looking for a Lead Engineer CAE load management!

Description

As a Lead Engineer in this position you will be responsible for Chassis load management, where the simulation of structural strength and fatigue of chassis components and/or systems in order to support the Chassis engineering and product development organization. Also to develop simulation tools and methodology towards "lean and optimized".

This role means you will;

• Work with Simulations and the development of template for chassis related components and systems, in order to meet the requirements cross platforms and overall vehicle requirements,
• Support chassis buildup of calculation method's and assessments,
• Develop, calibrate and evaluate
• Support lead engineer with stress calculation for component and system,

• Identify root-causes or identified issues during verification/validation and develop countermeasures/solutions as needed,
• Assure deliverables according to project plan. 

As Lead Engineer CAE load management of chassis system you will primarily collaborate internally with Chassis lead engineer and chassis organization, as well as the whole simulation team here on NEVS.

We are looking for someone who has;

• Relevant engineering experience in the work area, minimum 5-10 years,
• A thorough knowledge and understanding of simulation, specifically within strength and fatigue and related methods,
• University engineering education or equivalent experience,
• Experience to work with linier and non linier analyses, frequency response etc, 
• Driver license B.

You master English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

To be successful in the role, you need to;

• Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded,
• Have good communication skills,
• Have the ability to plan and prioritize.
