As a lead engineer you will be responsible for development and integration of components and coordination with sub-contractors within our project SeaTwirl S2 (see
www.seatwirl.com). You will focus on management as well as development, within our pe train and dynamic team. The work will range from concept development to detailed engineering and procurement.
Jonas Boström, Technical Manager
Jonas has a Master's degree in shipbuilding from Chalmers University of Technology and is a solution and result-oriented team player. Jonas has experience from previously working in classification societies and as a subcontractor to the offshore industry. At SeaTwirl, Jonas contributes with an eye for details and system integration, especially in connection with the high demands that come with sea-based structure.
Responsibilities
You will take an active role in leading the project by working with the development and function of our unique solution. Focus areas are for example drive train, brake system, cooling system, joining interface and manufacturing selection. You will also be involved in our future strategies for our solutions.
Ensuring that the projects deliverables are executed
Contact with subcontractors and component owners, and negotiate contracts
Coordinate the work with subcontractors
Create and follow work-flow processes and manage engineering activities
Responsible for the on-time delivery of reports drawings and technical queries
Your profile
You are used to working independently and have prior experience from a leading role. As a person, you are confident in your professional role, and have the ability to drive the team's work forward. You are committed to your work and have a great interest in the technology of the future in renewable energy solutions. Used to communicate with suppliers and subcontractors, to ensure the work.
Master of Science in relevant field, or equivalent experience
Previous experience in mechanical engineering, preferably with a focus on naval architecture, offshore and / or renewable energy
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Meritorious with good understanding and knowledge of the electrical field
This type of challenge requires good assessment skills, understand complex engineering scope for the team while also have a keen eye for detailed engineering
