At the newly established GTP Innovative Purchasing function, we have the passion for technology and new business models and seeking you to join our new team. The responsibilities of the function can be categorized as follows:
• Scouting innovation and new technologies
• Early phase project management (where this role is hosted)
• New organizational developments (Greenhouse, Sustainability, etc)
• Researching industry business intelligence

Role Mission
There is now an opportunity for you to join the Innovative Purchasing function and contribute in the development of our new products. As a Lead Early Phase Project Manager - Purchasing, you are representing GTP in the major ongoing Advanced Engineering (AE) projects and you plan and actively lead the purchasing deliverables in the Technology Development phase. This means that you are the key purchasing interface towards the projects' Chief Project Managers as well as the AE Portfolio Managers in GTT. Another important task in this role is to bring the innovation from suppliers and other external stakeholders in to the AE projects and to go from a reactive to a proactive way of working in Early Phases.
You will work closely with project managers from other functions, Commodity and Project buyers in GTP, prototype purchasing teams in GTT as well as your other colleagues in Innovative Purchasing. You lead and secure all the purchasing deliverables according to the project requirements and gate criteria's and take an active part in developing the technologies of tomorrow.
