Aurora Punks is seeking a Lead 3D artist to join our team. We are developing a video game based on Elric of Melniboné and that will be your main focus.
Are you a 3D artist with deep knowledge in art on canvas and artistic prowess?
Are you familiar with Maya?
Do you appreciate high- and dark fantasy as much as we do? As well as the works of Frank Frazetta and Michael Whelan?

Responsibilities
Create key art characters and props in accordance with references, artstyle and direction.
Help with art pipeline development and work on polishing the style we want.
Work closely with the creative director and art director.
Meet deadlines and deliver placeholder and final art on time.
Required technical skills
Hi-level modeling skills in Maya.
Expertise in modeling and texturing techniques both hard surface and organic.
Good understanding of how to draw light and shadow.
Knowledge of texturing softwares like Substance Painter.
General requirements
At least 5 years of work experience in the industry and at least 10 year's experience as a practicing artist.
Be able to follow a Creative Lead's vision.
Be adept at self-managing.
Be able to anticipate and find solutions to problems in production.
Great eye for anatomy, lighting and shading, as well as linework - brush strokes.
Strong communication skills.
The ability to work from art references or concept art when available.
