hela Sverige SKF IT provides strategic IT support to the SKF organization by developing sound strategies and managing selected service providers. The Central Service Delivery team in SKF IT is a team responsible for the central service of Hosting, Network and Application basic operation.
Members in the team are located in Sweden, USA, France, Italy, Germany and Singapore.
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate LAN/WLAN Network Service manager since current position holder is moving on to new challenges within SKF.
As LAN/WLAN Network Services Manager, you will be responsible for SKF Global LAN/WLAN network in Operate and Support.
You will be responsible for SKF LAN/WLAN supplier contract including both services execution and finance control and to ensure consistent vendor execution of the services across the regions. To drive continuous improvement with aim to optimise LAN/WLAN network operational stability and cost.
You will work close to the network resources in Operate and Support organization including other network areas and EMEA, AMER, APAC regions. You will also cooperate with network resources in other parts of SKF IT and supplier counterpart.
Key Responsibilities
• To monitor and govern the global operational stability of LAN/WLAN Services.
• To drive continuous improvements, from a central perspective, to optimize service availability, considering regional business requirements.
• To be contract owner of LAN/WLAN Global supplier contract.
• To own the budget and forecast and deliver within agreed guidelines.
• To support the regions in liaison with business concerning delivered IT Service.
• To enable realization of expected benefits from projects following a 'Turnover To Production' process.
• To manage vendor relationships, Service Levels, and delivery to agreed contract framework.
• To safeguard that central IT Quality Processes, Guidelines and Controls are followed.
• To work with Service management team for Change, incident, problem processes.
• To be part of Request process.
• Driven and passionate about working in the LAN/WLAN network area.
• Experience from working in a truly global environment with Incident, Problem, Change and Request processes.
• Experience from having financial responsibility.
• Ability to communicate in both technical and user-friendly language, at all levels of the organization.
• Team-player and highly self-motivated with the ability to work with people from different cultures and disciplines.
• Skilled in communication in a highly international environment why fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• At least 5 years' experience working with LAN/WLAN network in an global environment.
Personal profile
• Master/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Senior experience in the LAN/WLAN Network area.
• Experience from IT change and project/program management is an advantage
• Working in an truly global environment is a major advantage
• Persistent, structured, coherent mindset and ensuring that agreed policies are followed.
