Labour Affairs is a team consisting of eight employees with different backgrounds and experiences located in Gothenburg, Olofström and Skövde. The team have a main responsibility for Labour Affairs issues for Volvo Cars Sweden as well as a global governance for the entire Volvo Car Group. A great interest in labour law issues and union relations bring the Labour Affairs team together. There are possibilities to enter deeply into different labour law subject areas and tasks. The team works in close collaboration with local HR and managers within the different business functions as well as the unions and the employers' association.
We are now looking for a new Labour Affairs Expert with special interest in working close to production and management in Torslanda plant. The main responsibilities are union negotiations, support in labour law issues and agreements, managing personnel issues, working hour schedules and blue collar wages. To be able to take on the broad range of responsibilities you will work in parallel with the current Labour Affairs Expert for a longer period in time.
Main tasks:
* Responsibility for Torslanda plant as labour affairs unit support
* Act as an adviser in labour law issues
* Union negotiations
* Investigations in labour law issues including personnel issues
* Blue collar wages and systems
* Creating new or updated working hour schedules/systems
* Responsibility for one or more labour law subject areas depending on competence and interest
* Administrative tasks such as managing documents and instructions
* Projects and improvement work
Qualifications:
* University education within the Human Resource and/or Labour law area or corresponding experience
* Several years experience working within human resources or other relevant competence area
* Basic knowledge in labour law and interest in collective labour agreements
* Experience of union collaboration and negotiation work
* Strong in excel and every day mathematics as well as analytics
* Good communication skills, oral and written, both in Swedish and English
* Ability to interact with people on different levels in the organization
* High integrity
* Feeling comfortable in the role as an employer representative
* A structured and driving personality with ability to work independently
