Location: Stenungsund
Assignment: It is a consulting assignment you will be employed by us but work at the client and is a full-time job. The assignment is ongoing until the end of August 2023. There is no possibility of working hybrid for this position.
As a laboratory technician:
In this role at the ethylene factory's quality laboratory, you will work in a group of laboratory engineers and have the main task of ensuring the functioning of the operating lab. You use advanced analytical technology to analyze the factory's products as well as ensure the equipment for the production staff, and high focus is on maintaining high analysis quality and a quality-assured laboratory.
You have the main responsibility for the operating laboratory's equipment, functionality and contribute with your expertise in problem solving. Great emphasis is placed on continuous improvement work with regard to operations, safety, accuracy, repeatability and cost-effectiveness. The position also includes being a support in quality-related issues for the process engineering group, the production unit, the sales department, and research & development.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for you who has an academic degree in chemistry/process or equivalent and has laboratory experience, preferably with gas chromatography as a specialty. You must demonstrate a good ability to independently run, organize and complete tasks. Experience with gas chromatography, laboratory equipment, and SAP is advantageous. We assume that you have good PC skills and a good ability to express yourself both orally and in writing in Swedish and English.
