hela Sverige For International Färg AB in Angered, we are now looking for a laboratory technician who will support the lab by delivering Chromascan formulations. Chromascan is our advanced colour system.
This is a rewarding position where you have lots of internal and external contacts and will get direct feedback on your work from our customers.
Responsibilities
• Receive requests from customers regarding Chromascan colour and decide if it is possible to make them.
• When possible match colour and send formulation to customer within decided lead time.
• Register new colours in our data system according to new product/colour introduction process and follow up results.
• Work with the Felling Chromascan lab in the UK to support/develop the Chromascan system.
• Frequent contact with our internal and external customers regarding colour advice.
• Ensure that our Chromascan formulation process is followed both in quality and lead time.
• Back up QC process according to our methods and procedures.
• Report to Felling CS lab regarding service level monitoring.
Qualifications
• Chemical technician and/or 2-3 years? experience from similar job.
• Good knowledge in basic mathematics.
• Experience of physical chemistry, i.e. mixtures of different ingredients and how they react.
• Knowledge and interest in colours and a good colour sense.
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
• Good knowledge of Office tools.

You can deal with many tasks simultaneously and have the ability to take initiatives and see what needs to be done. You are results oriented, thorough and deliver on commitment. We are a small team working closely together and it is important that you are a good team member and ready to step in where needed.
Based on the content of this position it is important that you are not color blind. This will be tested at the interviews.
