At Essity, our ambition is to increase health and hygiene standards across the world and we are in a phase to expand our R&D department. Therefore, we are now looking for new Laboratory Engineers to strengthen us at Essity!

There are both temporary and permanent positions and all are located in our new office in Mölndal/ Gothenburg with modern lab facilities.
Main Tasks
As a laboratory engineer, you will participate in innovation projects and other activities, e.g. value engineering and business support, and work in cross-functional teams
To plan, test, analyze and statistic evaluate different development products and solutions are key tasks within the projects and other activities.
Develop, evaluate and validate new laboratory methods to meet consumer and business needs.
Maintain knowledge about test methods and competence area, within own working field.
As a laboratory engineer you will have a broad and active role in our global, exciting innovation projects and activities where you will represent our laboratory and be responsible for product testing. In your role as a Laboratory Engineer you will be faced with various tasks, both practical and theoretical.
Key Competencies
Technical university degree (BSc preferably in Chemistry, Mechanical, Textile or similar)
Minimum 2 years' experience from laboratory work
Experience from working with statistical analysis and analytical programs
Good communication skills and can present in written reports as well as in discussions.
Fluent in English, both oral and written capabilities
Oral and written capabilities in Swedish is an advantage
You need to be able to travel 1-2 weeks at a time every now and then.
