Description:
Our Laboratory Engineer - Physical testing R&D Services will go on maternity leave.
The position mainly involves planning and coordinating smaller projects within the service function and perform laboratory services. You will report to Manager, R&D Services.
This position will be located in Karlstad, Sweden, with a local contract.
Type of employment: Temporary employment until 31st of August 2011.
Duties to begin as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate smaller projects within the service function.
• Perform laboratory services with special focus on physical testing (pulp testing, paper testing and special testing).
• Independently, as project manager or in cooperation with the project manager, evaluate, develop and adapt laboratory methods.
• Act as contact person towards the mills regarding laboratory services.
• Collect and distribute assignments and tasks within the service organization.
Requirements:
• BSc/MSc (Högskoleingenjör/Civilingenjör) preferably within psyical engineering or equivalent knowledge.
• Experience from physical testing laboratory work within pulp, paper and board production.
• Experience from working in process- and product development projects.
• Good skills in MS Office.
• Demonstrated ability to work thoroughly and quality-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to generate and develop ideas.
• Good communication skills in English, orally and in writing.
