We offer SPX FLOW in Örebro is facing exiting projects and a high flow of orders and is therefore in need of a Lab Test Technician who wants to be a part of an innovative team.

SPX FLOW is a global company and you will have colleagues both in Örebro and Bydgoszcz, Poland. The team in Örebro is tight and diverse with a culture where communication, innovation, collaboration and customer service are important.

As Lab Test Technician you will be a part of the product engineering department and will report to the Product Engineering Manager who is located in Bydgoszcz. You will also have frequent contact with the Site Manager in Örebro.

About the role The Lab Test Technician is responsible for the testing activities of products based on assignments from Product and Commercial Engineering, ensuring that the design validation criteria are met. This role plans, executes, evaluates and validates tests relevant to both prototypes and existing products.

You will also be responsible to collect, compile and summarize test data and review results together with engineering to resolve problems such as product or equipment issues, malfunctions and incomplete test data.

Furthermore, you will be collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to define test plans and processes. As well as compile and maintain test-related documentation including test plans, procedures, results and reports. In addition, this position is also responsible for the inspection, assembly and test of custom built and bespoke prototypes.

Our candidate You have relevant technical education and at least three years' experience in an industrial environment. You hold a mechanical aptitude as well as conceptual and analytical skills. Knowledge of electrical engineering, AC/DC motors and relevant controls are qualifications necessary to be successful in this role.

In addition, you are result-driven and are used to managing projects in accordance to set plans. You are driven to improve and enjoy identifying improvement opportunities, generating ideas and implementing solutions. Good communication skills are required and you must have a good command of both Swedish and English.

Furthermore, you are a team-oriented person who actively contribute to team goals as well as an independent person who is comfortable in a role with a high level of autonomy.
