On behalf of one of our clients we are looking for two Medicinal Chemist for a temporary assignment in Stockholm due to parental leave. The assignments will start in the beginning of August and continue for at least 6 months. For the right candidate there might be a possibility to be hired directly by the company, once the assignment is finished.
As a medicinal chemist you will be responsible for designing and synthesizing target compounds, as well as determining/verifying the structure of your synthesized products. You will work in project-teams and actively participate in project/group meetings.

Qualification:
We are looking for candidates with a basic education in organic/medicinal chemistry, preferably holding a PhD, complemented with several years experience of Medicinal Chemistry within the pharma- or biotech industry. You are a strong team player with previous experience from working in project teams. For this position we require excellent oral and written English and a good knowledge in chemistry- and structure databases.
The ideal candidate is an ambitious, enthusiastic and goal oriented person, with a genuine interest in medicinal chemistry. You have the ability to work independently, but support and help your colleagues to ensure the best possible result. Since you will work in different project groups it is very important with excellent communication- and social skills.
