We are strengthening our Trading Applications development centre in Stockholm with a Junior Software Engineer.
The roles entail working with a wide variety of tasks, ranging from detailing customer requirements, design, implementation and testing. Work is done in small teams, in close cooperation with other developers as well as testers, product managers, technical writers and support staff. As our organization is truly international, you can expect frequent interaction with other offices as well as some degree of travel.
Job Description - Junior Software Engineer
As a junior software engineer, you will join one of our engineering teams and work with development of our high tech derivatives trading products. Through an extensive training program containing a mix of domain knowledge, programming languages, tools, processes, hands-on development work and coaching from highly experienced developers, you will be brought up to speed as a trading applications developer.
Basic requirements:
• M Sc or similar.
• 1-2 years? experience of software development.
• Basic knowledge of one or several programming languages in the C-family (C, C++, Java, C#).
• Interested in learning development of complex software products with high demands on performance and reliability
• Interested in the financial market.
Of special interest but not a requirement:
• Experience of development in the .NET framework, especially WPF.
• Experience of Objective C programming.
• Experience from development of financial trading systems.
• Experience of software product development.
The ideal candidate for this role is smart, hungry and eager to learn the craft of software engineering..
