Interested in an administrative scientific role at ECDC focused Public Health education and training? We are currently looking for an Junior Scientific Export requested to perform various tasks in the Training Network Strengthening Group at Expert to the European Centre for Disease Prevention (ECDC).
Work duties
The interim will work in the Public Health Training Section on the area of Learning Methods. As a member of Training Network Strengthening Group shall be requested to perform various tasks including:
• Provide support to the design and development of curricula and training materials of ECDC training programmes;
• Review existing training material and curricula to assess the potential for reuse;
• Contribute to both face-to-face and e-learning activities
• Evaluation of training activities;
• Provide training support to other sections and disease programmes.
Competences and experience
In addition to the profile specification, these specific competences and experience are required for the assignment:
• Degree in Science or Engineering
• Merit with experience related to Public Health
• Experience in training and curricular design, ideally within public health area; ability to facilitate e-learning and face-to-face formats.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong inter-personal skills and ability to work well in a multi-cultural team.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage responsibilities; service-oriented and result-oriented personality.

Job type: Full time. Candidates need to be available for work from end-March, and the temporary assignment are planned to end in July 2017, but with possible extension up to a total length of 12 month.
