Getinge are planning a spin-off of the division Patient and Post-Acute Care (PPAC), also known under the brand name ArjoHuntleigh. We are now building up the new separately listed company.

Based at the ArjoHuntleigh Headquarter in Malmo, Sweden we are now looking for a:

Junior Product Manager, Medical Beds & Room Solutions

ArjoHuntleigh offers a wide range of hospital and long term healthcare beds that allow good infection control, offer enhanced ergonomics, comfort, safety and ease of use, and promote effective risk management.
This role primarily focuses on the acute care adjacent space products critical to supporting the overall medical beds offering. The range includes hospital beds for developing markets, birthing beds, pediatric beds, bedside furniture, stretchers and examination couches. Also covered are the related accessories that are designed to support and assist the resident/patient and the caregiver.

The Position

This is a unique opportunity for a global entry level job based in the head office of a well renowned Medical Device multinational. The objective is to provide a young talent with the chance to learn and grow as a professional within our business.
As a member of the Medical Beds & Room Solutions team, you will have the unique opportunity to work alongside senior professionals from around the globe. As part of ongoing development, you will also support initiatives and key projects across our other main franchises.

As Junior Product Manager you will also:
• Learn how to properly develop in a global organization (global role)
• Learn basics or project prioritization and decision making
• Understand how to deliver strong Voice of Customer (VOC) and Voice of Business (VOB) input for projects
• Develop strong value propositions for category and product
• Develop positioning and pricing strategies (pricing excellence) for a new product and how to evaluate current portfolio (category optimization)
• Understand how to develop a Product Category Roadmap
• Develop business cases for product development and OEM projects
• Learn of the financials underlying product category management
• Understand how to secure a strong launch according to the company Launch Excellence framework
• Gain a clear understanding of the overall Product Manager responsibilities with "cradle to grave" responsibility of product category and be prepared for selective market support
• Understand the interfacing and collaboration with other key areas for product development
• Learn about quality management, both in product development as well as management of quality issues in the field.
• Learn about Intellectual Property and how to use this actively in Product Category strategies
• Monitor and assess competitor activity; compiling and reporting market briefs
• Assist Senior Category Managers as required

The position is located in Malmö and requires traveling on a global basis.

The Ideal Candidate
We believe that the right candidate has:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Life Sciences, or Engineering, preferably a Master's degree in business, Marketing, or life sciences.
• 0-2 years of experience post-graduation
• Experience in Medical Devices, Health Care Products, Technical Health Products, or Pharma beneficial but not a requirement
• Ability to work in diverse, international settings across dissimilar cultures and time zones

A successful Junior Product Manager is likely to be a self-motivated, pro-active person with high energy and have a strong bias towards getting things done. You have the willingness to learn from experience and subsequently apply those lessons to perform successfully in new or first-time situations.
Further, you will have great analytical skills and the ability to translate these into relevant market insights. Solving problems is a key motivator for and you are able to organize your work, set priorities and monitor progress towards goals. Working cooperatively and effectively with others comes naturally and you can determine the importance, urgency and risks in your work task as well as forward proposals for decision making. You are also able to present a project or an idea in a professional way while having excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
