Working as a Junior Optic Engineer
You will be joining a optical team where your involvement will span the entirety of our development process, from design concepts to the validation of final products. The tasks will include optical design and simulations, contacts with partners and suppliers, test and validation in optics lab, field testing, among other responsibilities.
The position is based in Gothenburg. You will be part of a R&D department including teams specializing in diverse technical domains, including hardware, software, image quality, optics, mechanics, and QA/testing.
Being a consultant at Nexer Tech Talent
Nexer Tech Talent specialize in giving young tech talents the ultimate start in their careers. For this role, you will be employed by Nexer Tech Talent but work at our customer in Gothenburg starting this spring/summer.
You will be coached by a mentor at our customer and by a consultant manager at Nexer Tech Talent. As a consultant, you will be well taken care of. We often invite our consultants to group activities such as lectures, after works and lunch meetings. After successful completion of the consulting assignment, the intention is that you will be offered employment with your customer.
Desired qualifications:
• Are at the start of your career and have a master's degree in Technical Physics or equivalent.
• As a person you have a analytic and problem solving mindset
• Experience with optical design software like Zemax or Code V, optical systems and optical components
• Knowledge of simulation and scripting in Python
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
