The Tourist Development Corporation of Malaysia (TDC) was established on 10 August 1972 as an agency under the former Ministry of Trade and Industry by an Act of Parliament. With the inception of the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Tourism on 20 May 1987, TDC was moved to this new ministry; and became the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board (MTPB) through the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board Act 1992. Popularly kown as Tourism Malaysia, it is now an agency under the Ministry of Tourism with full focus on promoting Malaysia domestically as well as internationally.
Tourism Malaysia office opened its Stockholm office in November 1993. Currently it has more than 40 overseas offices worldwide.
POSITION : JUNIOR MARKETING EXECUTIVE
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Junior Marketing Executive is designated with the responsibility of promoting Malaysia via dissemination of information and undertaking specific marketing activities, as assigned by Director of Tourism Malaysia Stockholm to support the organization's overall business objectives.
QUALIFICATION: A university degree majoring in marketing, communications or business administration and have at least 3 years working experience.
STARTING SALARY: SEK 22,000
