Job Description
As a Junior Linux Developer you will be part of our clients team with special responsibilities with regards to handle the adaptions of the Linux environment. Repacking of already existing distributions, adding on product specific parts and configurations will be on your list of responsibilities. This to establish a platform from our clients standard Linux distribution. Background from Linux distribution development is important. Most important is to be able to see the system from a high level to understand what parts of the Linux based platform that is affected and needs adaptions or additions. This based on the product requirements as well as architecture and design. It is good to have understanding of overlay filesystem in comparison to the root filesystem.
Qualifications
To apply for this position we see that you have a degree in Computer Science/similar education and you can be newly graduated or have up to 2-3 years of experience in embedded software development or industrial control systems. It is a requirement that you have experience working with Linux distribution development and that you speak and write fluently in English. You also have experience working with: C/C++, Python and Bash - Scripting.
As a person you are an excellent team member with good problem-solving skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
