Arduino Verkstad AB, the Swedish branch owned by Arduino SA, the open source hardware company, is looking for a full-time Junior Firmware Developer.

Arduino Verkstad AB is working with different projects, and therefore we are looking for a dynamic person with proficiency in:
• C, C++ for writing firmware for microcontrollers, mainly AVR and ARM architectures
• Knowledge in debugging software using JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
• Writing firmware for Arduino boards

but also knowledge in:
• Writing libraries for the Arduino ecosystem
• Programming languages like JavaScript and Java.

Arduino SA is a small multinational with offices in five countries, so you should be ready to collaborate in projects with members of the other Arduino branches. Therefore we are looking forward to applicants with social skills and an interest in culture and communication.

Practical aspects:
• Application: CV and project portfolio
• Salary: To be discussed considering your application
• Working percentage: Full-time
• Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Location: Office is in Malmö, Sweden. Those interested in working remotely need not apply.

You could imagine your weeks to look as follows:
• Monday: analyze a pull request by a partner to a C++ library you wrote
• Tuesday: engage in email/forum conversations with other developers in the Arduino Ecosystem
• Wednesday: write a bootloader for a new product
• Thursday: collaborate with someone at the office in preparing a workshop on a topic you master
• Friday: interact with clients to plan a certain development to be made for them
