About the position
You will be a part of the Analysis team that today consists of 5 people. Your main tasks will include developing and applying machine learning and analytic methods to extract information and to enhance the interpretability of the results; in addition, you will be involved in improving and maintaining tools and pipelines to automate data analysis and visualization, and generation of reports.
Additional duties will include collaborating closely with other data scientists to develop and implement analysis workflows, maintain and run pipelines, participate in troubleshooting sessions, and contribute to data investigation and interpretation.
Your profile
To fit the role, you have BSc/MSc in a relevant field, e.g., data science, computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, computational biology or bioinformatics. A Ph.D. with demonstrated results in a data-intense field with applied data analysis skills is an advantage. Proficiency in written and spoken English and excellent communication skills are mandatory for effective collaboration within the team and company.
The ideal candidate should have at least one year of industry work experience in the filed of data analysis, image analysis, or machine learning. Work experience as a researcher in academia is also considered relevant experience. Strong programming skills in Python are essential for this role.
In addition to the required qualifications, valuable skills include experience in image analysis, bioinformatics, or with microscopy techniques.
