As a Junior Concept Artist, you will be responsible for creating the design of the characters, creatures and/or props, using shapes, volume, silhouette, and acting to portray that subject's list of attributions, such as personality or story. Using your talent for drawing and painting, and with the help of Art Directors and Art Leads to break down briefings, you will solve visual problems and bring the best ideas to life.*This position is remote (contractor) with an option to transition in-house.
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience in Concept Art for the Entertainment industry
Proficiency in art fundamentals, visual storytelling and color theory
Showcase ability to paint or draw in a variety of art styles
Fluent in English
Great organizational skills
Good time management skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver great quality illustrated work
Communicate difficulties along the project
Receive and apply feedback from the Art Directors
BONUS POINTS
Experience in Visual Development or world building for games and film
Strong interest in Games and Game Development
