Vanadis Diagnostics is an exciting company that develops a CE-IVD solution for genetic analyses. We are now seeking a junior civil engineer with a background in mechanical engineering and knowledge in biology to our Product Development team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a new, growing innovative company.

Arbetsuppgifter
You will be working at Vanadis Diagnostics site in Sollentuna and be a part of the Product Development team.
Key responsibilities include:
• Evaluate and test custom labware and hardware components in lab automation
• Produce, analyze and present data related to the projects
• Write and follow work instructions for production
• Train personnel in use and production of custom consumables
• Write QC metrics and tests for custom consumables
Minor tasks will involve examining drawings and tolerances, maintaining relationships with sub-contractors. You will be required to do some traveling to our production in Finland.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
To qualify for this role you have a Bachelor's / Master's degree in engineering or natural sciences (preferably mechanical engineering). You have good written and verbal communication skills in English and good verbal skills in Swedish. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years relevant working experience. Knowledge and experience working with ISO13485 is merited, along with CAD skills (solid works) and experience in new product development.
To be successful in this role you are goal and result oriented and a team player. You are friendly, positive, and fun to work with. You have a hands-on mentality and you enjoy actively participating in day-to-day operations and enjoy working in a fast paced and time sensitive environment.
