Information about the position
Professionals Nord is, due to our client, looking for a Junior Antenna Engineer. You will work as a consultant through our staffing business. During the first 12 months, you work as a consultant through us and if the cooperation has worked well, you have good opportunities for continued employment with the client company.

As part of the antenna team, you will have a key role in Gapwaves mission of leveraging innovative technologies to deliver advanced antenna solutions at mm-wave frequencies.
As an antenna engineer you will be part of a development team of 5-8 persons who have the full responsibility for one or several customer and research projects. The responsibility starts from product specification, design, verification and delivery to customer. As an antenna designer the main task is to design and verify antennas together with with the rest of the team. Depending on your seniority, the technical expertise and drive will be a key asset in the interaction with customer, support your colleagues, RF design, fault finding & quality assurance. Additionally, you will be given the opportunity to engage in our research activities and academic collaborations. Senior profiles in particular are expected to have relevant experience and contribute to advance the technical knowhow and excellence of the department.

* Specification analysis and definition of antennas
* Antenna design with focus on robustness & quality
* Verification of engineering samples and troubleshooting
* Technical interface towards suppliers & customers
We are looking for you as
* Have an engineering degree in electrical engineering or a few years of experience in antenna and RF design!
* Has a natural drive and a solid interest in technology.
* Also have a passion for development and see opportunity in being able to walk next to a senior antenna engineer who coaches you forward in your work.
* Good knowledge of English is a requirement for the position!
Meriting Qualifications
* Experience with components and antennas in waveguide technology, ideally Gapwaveguide
* Hands on experience with mmWave antennas, components and equipmen
* Familiarity with radar and telecommunication applications
